DJ Odawa

I’m not sure how many of you know about Red Planet , but it is a record label in Detroit. They produce classic banging techno tunes influenced by the Native ways and tradition practiced by my ancestors. I just found out that one of the affiliates is very good friends with my father. I feel that my music production skills could be elevated because of this connection. Wish me luck as I venture off into the unknown/known to get my thoughts and ideas pressed into vinyl. I am workin on a tune I really want to be pressed so hopefully things work out in our favour. Word to the worm.

After 8 years of working at the same place I finally feel like there is some kind of reward. I will be traveling and working in Hawaii for 3 weeks in september/october. I am extremely excited about it. If there is anything you feel I should do while I’m down there let me know and I will probably document it. Word
